Website Tutorial - Our Goal.

There are many different types of websites and many different scripting languages to use for different types of websites. For instance you can use php, asp, etc., etc.
At the outset we said that this tutorial will have no technical jargon so I am not going to cover the different types of websites or languages here.

Our goal here is to show you how to build a useable website without using templates. A website that you have full control over, can edit and expand on as you choose.

We are going to build this site using html and tables, rather than xhtml and css. This is an outdated method but I believe will give you a clear understanding on how things work. It will be a very easy transition for you to build any type of site using any methods once you understand these basics.

Just reading this tutorial will not achieve our goals. You must take action and put the lessons into practice.
Only by taking an active role and following this tutorial step by step will you end up with a useable website.
