This is the Old Version of the .WS site builder - you
will find a new site builder in your .WS back office. It is still worth
looking at the following information as you will get a grasp of how
site building works. Also a lot of the information is pertinent to the
new site builder.
The Web Site Builder enables
you to build your own website quickly and easily, even if you have
never built a website before. Make as many changes as you like. You
have 24/7 access to your websites control panel and can preview
everything before publishing your site for the world to see.
Step 1.Getting to your Back Office
Log into
your main account [ back office] at http://www.website.ws/members/
use the login user
ID and
password sent to you in your welcome email from Global Domains
International, Inc.
From
within your back office scroll down the left hand side navigation bar
till you come to Registered Domains:

As you can see in the image above my registered
domain is: kimbrointernational.ws
Within your back office your registered domain will
be whatever you chose when you signed up. Click on yourxxx.ws
registered domain.
Step 2. How To Access Your
Site Builder
Make sure SiteBuilder is
selected then click on continue.

The following page will appear click on Build
My WebSite!

This will bring you into the Site Builder

Step 3. Create New Pages
Click on "Create New Page" at the top of the blue
navigation bar at the left side of the screen 10 times [maximum pages
allowed in your website]. I already had my index page published in the
example above. Now look what happens when I click on "Create New Page"
9 more times.

Step 4. Edit Your pages
Select "Page Editor" from the blue navigation bar
at the left of the page, then select "Properties" of the page you want
to edit. Edit the page name, theme and layout you want and submit.
Select "Page Editor" again. Then select Preview of
the page you are working on.
Select "Page Editor" then select "Additional
Properties" of the page you are working on.
Following is a sample of the additional Properties
for my Index Page. Fill in your own info and submit.

Select "Page Editor" then select "Edit" of the page
you are working on. This will bring up the page you are working on with
a blue navigation bar across the top of the page - select
"Add Content" Now you will be presented with a page that asks you to
select content type.

Note the help tag on the blue navigation bar at the
left of the page. This is where you can find help on using any of the
above selections. Placeholders are limited to 2000 characters. However
you can place as many placeholders as you like.
When formatting the text - font, color, size etc -
highlight your text and then select the pertinent tab at the top of the
page. The options are laid out like a word processor and very simple to
use.
You will need to load your images to the gallery
from your computer before inserting them into your web pages - remember
images slow down your pages so try to keep them relatively light.
Instead of having page 1,2,3,etc. you can rename
these links to make more sense. For instance instead of "page two" you
might name " Section Two" or " About" or whatever topic your page two
is about.
To Construct a hyperlink: Highlight your text then
click on the link icon [looks like a chain link] a window will pop up
prompting you to give the link address [URL]. Once you have input the
link address the hyperlink is automatically created for you.
For instance; lets say you wanted your
visitor to go to another page on your site and lets say that page was
called "about" the link address or URL would be
http://www.yoursitename.ws/about.html
Here is an example of what it might look like on
your page.
